.22 silhouettes matches are held December through April on the first Sunday of each month at 9am.

These matches offer shooters an opportunity to maintain offhand shooting skills during the winter months.

.22 silhouette matches are affordable as fees for adults are only $5.00 per day and ammunition is relatively inexpensive. Juniors and peewees shoot for free. In La Grande we have added several targets not generally associated with standard silhouettes. Our matches do not conform to NRA rules, which allows us to shoot varied targets, up to 150 yards. It is fun and challenging all at the same time.

The .22 silhouette discipline requires eye and ear protection even though we are shooting "only .22s". Careful handling of firearms is the norm and we encourage everyone to be safe.
