Fun Shoot Multi-Gun

Folks-
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Zac Rourk, and I run the Multi-Gun event here at the LGRPC.

The first question many of you will have is what is the Multi-Gun event? The simple answer is that it is a version of the common 3-gun match that is run by many different clubs throughout the country. That means that the basic shoot itself utilizes all three common self defense firearms, Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun.

Each stage is designed to be a bit different and is both challenging and exciting. Some stages will utilize a single firearm in particular; some will utilize two or even all three in a single stage. The stages are complex and challenging but are designed to be worked in a safe manner at all times. A copy of the match rules, including equipment regulations can be found here,

just click on “Detailed Info” and then “read more” (while you are there sign up as a friend on our Facebook account so you can receive our quick updates as they come out)! It would benefit everyone to take a quick look here and see what’s what even if you’ve already competed in a multi-gun event in the past as there have been some small changes in how the match is run due to popular demand.

Now I understand that the equipment involved with multi-gun matches is expensive. I do however have equipment that I am willing to lend out during the match so long as you provide your own ammo. Contact me if you are interested in attending a match and need to borrow either a pistol, rifle or shotgun and I will let you know what ammo you need to bring to the match.

As a general rule the match is always the last Saturday of the month, starting at 9:30 a.m. and the cost to attend the match is $5.
