The Cowboys put the netting up in the rafters of the open bay building on the 100 yard range. This will hopefully keep the birds from nesting and making such a mess. It looks great - Thanks Cowboys.
The year's first Benchrest shoot will be held April 15th and the first Sporting Hi-Power will be on May 6th. The Sporting Hi-Power group is looking for additional shooter to fill teams for this year's postal matches, and if a Ladies Team is put together, there is a strong likelihood they might place first. Contact Dick Hohstadt with questions.
Old Business
The bays on the pistol range are moving rith along - mud is holding up progress, but will continue, weather permitting. The 3rd bay is nearly finished and a nice park area will be added to the original plan. Shooters are encouraged to bring a lunch and make a day of their shooting.
Additional safety signs are finished and Darrell Plank and Rocky Mink will work together to distribute and post as needed.
New Business
Dick Hohstadt will be attending the OSAR representing our club. Look for an additional webpage dedicated to OSAR in the near future.
Dick Hohstadt will also be checking PH levels and applying needed ground remedies as needed.
A grader is needed to repair some roads and drives on our ranges - if you know of one available, please contact President Plank.
If you have any links or additions you would like for the webpage - contact jess
Note: Currently Active Military Members may use the range for free by obtaining a pass at Oregon Trail Trader and may shoot any of our matches for free. Additional the club would like to extend a one-year free membership to any Veteran returning from active duty.
