The Traditional Archers exist to provide members and their guests with a place to shoot traditional bows (long bows and recurve bows)
for shooting pleasure and practice for hunting.
Scheduled events are held on the third Saturday of each month - April through September. You will find us on the Archery Range below the bays on the Pistol Range.
In keeping with humans age long appreciation for the grace and beauty of traditional bows and arrows, we promote and welcome participation and use of the facilities. The traditional range is provided during spring through fall in an area East of the Pistol Range.
Please use field tips only on the arrow (no broadheads). Members and their guests (accompanied) may use the range at any time.
The La Grande Rifle Pistol Club also provides 3D animal targets and storage space for the "Rendezvous at the River" (a weekend traditional archery shoot in June of each year).
